The challenge
The company was hearing that AI would transform logistics but could not translate that into specific bets in its own operation.
What we did
- Traced AI to concrete effects on routing, exception handling, and back-office cost in the actual business.
- Ranked the opportunities and set aside the ones the data was not ready for.
- Produced a thesis and roadmap leadership could defend to the board.
The outcome
The operator replaced a vague sense that it should do something with AI with a small number of specific, sequenced bets tied to its own economics.
